1970 - Hill 5 of Prelims Heat 6 (from the BAA Gallery). SigNu's Hornet, being pushed by Kim Crossman, currently leads, with SAE's Arnold close behind (and using the bump-and-run technique). SigNu would ultimately DQ, and DU's Captain America crashed prior to this point of the race.

1970 Prelims Heat 1 TDP bike vs. DU "Flying Door" (note how far behind it is) vs. TX's feet first "Xiclone." The "Flying Door" screamed around the course, finishing with a time of 4:10.
